Explosive Blast We are thrilled to introduce Dyna as another youngster who was determined to stay here with her mom and big half sisters. Dyna and Astro adore each other and despite having an opportunity to place her in a home on a co-ownership decided to keep her as I couldn't bear to separate the two sisters. Dyna is a very substantial young girl and is currently at just shy of 6 months standing 22" at the withers and weighing in at 78lbs. She and Astro will be making their show debute at the beginning of March 2007!! Unfortunately Dyna also appears to be our accident prone puppy so we're hoping that she doesn't do anything ELSE to herself to delay her show debute!! |

Prince Albert
Kennel Club show under Judge Terry Carter!!
On May 7, 2007 after several months of not knowing why exactly Dyna was lame on one leg and getting countless opinions and treatment options we made the trip to the Western Veterinarian College in Saskatoon for a consult with an orthopedic specialist. After several hours and SEVERAL orthopedic specialists joining in the search for the cause of her lameness, xrays FINALLY revealed that the slight fall that started the lameness resulted in a small cartilage chip in her left hock. Amazing that an 8 inch fall could result in such a thing. Dyna will be under the care of Dr. Peter Gilbert and staff at the Western Veterinarian College on July 12, 2007 to undergo her surgery to have the cartilage chip removed. We are praying for a full and healthy recovery for Dyna and HOPEFULLY will get her back in the show ring after her recovery to finish her championship!!!
