July 13, 2007 We picked Dyna up from the Western Vet College in Saskatoon following her leg surgery. She is of course limping and requires physio but we have been told she faces a good chance of a full recovery within the next 8 weeks. Thank you so much to Dr. Peter Gilbert and staff at the WCVM for their excellent care of Dyna!!

January 27 & 28, 2007 Wow the crew had a busy weekend with Cajen, Caper, Astro and Dyna all becoming breed ambassadors for the day at the huge Pet Expo event in Edmonton Alberta!! They all had a couple of busy days meeting and greeting hundreds of people. They were all exceptional and I couldn't be more proud of them!!

In Ontario Cajen was at the Trio Show in Bradford, Ontario and she and John took Best of Opposite Sex, in Saskatchewan Caper and Penny meanwhile were at the show in Moose Jaw and Caper took Best of Breed, a Group One &ldots;&ldots;.and BEST IN SHOW!!! August 12, 2006 Caper and Penny were at the Moose Jaw show in Saskatchewan where Caper takes Best of Breed and Group 1 under Judge Barbara Watt. Cajen and John were at the Trio show in Bradford Ontario for both the all breed show as well as the 2006 RCC National Specialty however did not place at either show.

August 5, 2006 Our "BLAST" litter of puppies arrives&ldots;&ldots;.13 puppies, 8 girls and 5 boys. Unfortunately we lost two babies but are very happy that the remaining 11 are doing so well!!

February 5, 2006 Alberta Kennel Club show in Calgary Alberta, under International Breeder Judge Edna Gonzalez of Mexico, Peggy and Cajen took Best of Breed over a very nice entry of 18 rottweilers, and then were given the honour of the Group One placement. What a thrill seeing Cajen in the Best in Show ring!! Heathro aka EternalFire's BriteLites BigCity took Winners Dog for his first 2 points!! Congratulations Traci & Heathro!!

On the weekend of January 14/15 Caper and Cajen both attended the large Pet Expo trade show in Edmonton Alberta where they displayed impeccable manners and LOTS of kissing to the attendees of the show. They were both demo dogs in the City of Edmonton Animal Control booth and were both terrific ambassadors for the breed. We got so many positive comments and compliments on both the girls as well as MANY offers of adoption. We had to turn down all offers as we love our girlies greatly. Both girls were friendly and outgoing, and we are so proud of how well our young girls did at this show.

November 29, 2005 Cajen & I attend the Caledon Kennel Club dog show in Toronto, Ontario for the 2005 Rottweiler Club of Canada National Specialty. At the Booster under Judge Skip Stanbridge Cajen and handler John Griffiths go Best of Opposite. THEN at the RCC Specialty under Sweepstakes Judge Helen Rose, Cajen and John go BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES!! THEN at the RCC Specialty under Judge Susan Catlin Cajen and John make the cut in the highly competitive breed ring, but unfortunately don't get a placement. We received some lovely comments from Judge Catlin and look forward to attending next year's National specialty when Cajen is a bit more mature. We're so proud of how well she behaved and congratulate all the beautiful dogs that were selected!! We are now retiring for the year and don't plan to do any showing until spring 2006. Have a great Holiday Season Everyone!!
November 5, 2005 Red Deer Kennel & Obedience Club under Judge Robert Verhulst, Cajen & Peggy take Best of Opposite and received a lovely comment from Judge Verhulst, and Caper and Jenna were VERY bratty in the Brace Competition and took Best Brace in Breed (and most certainly the naughtiest Brace as well). It certainly was a hoot for the spectators to watch and laugh at though.

September 30, 2005 BRCA Show in Camrose AB. Thrilled to report that Baran aka EternalFire’s A Li’l Red Baron was beautifully handled by Peggy Mignon to WD/BOW for a 4 point win!!! Congratulations to Baran’s proud mom and dad Peter and Debbie Schroeder. Baran is now on 8 points towards his Championship and is most certainly vying to become the first Champion male in the litter. Icing on the cake, momma Jenna takes Best of Opposite at the same show under Judge D. EMSLIE.
September 18, 2005 Thank you so much to the Golden Retriever Club of Alberta for putting together and hosting a first class heart/eye clinic at Paws That Please here in Edmonton. I found the clinic quick, well organized, and all the volunteers very helpful. Furthermore, HUGE thanks to Neil & Shelley Wilson for lending me Dennis for the Clinic. Unfortunately Baran couldn’t make it to the clinic as he was feeling under the weather, but I’m very pleased to report that Cajen, Caper, Tia, and Dennis were all cardiologist tested as having clear hearts, and Tia and Dennis were further CERF tested and again passed with flying colors. Some sad news regarding Maverick however, who was cardiologist tested as having a heart murmur. Maverick will now be getting neutered as I simply will not risk passing on a congenital heart problem to future pups.
September 10, 2005 EKC Show in Edmonton AB. I was thrilled to have been able to handle Baran, aka EternalFire’s A Li’l Red Baron to a lovely win. Baran was awarded WD/BOW under Judge Thomas NESBITT for a 3 point win&ldots;.Baran is now on 4 points towards his Championship!!! Congratulations to mom and dad Peter and Debbie for this beautiful win&ldots;..Can’t WAIT to see the picture&ldots;..hee hee&ldots;may have to crop myself out of it however as the photographer caught me in the middle of a blink!!

Cajen received the VV1 Rating and ultimately was awarded the title: VV1 2005 Calgary Sieger Show Most Promising Female Puppy in Show.
June 3, 2005 Northern Alberta Kennel Club show in Edmonton Alberta, Jenna takes Best of Opposite, her son Baran (EternalFire's A Li'l Red Baron) takes Winner's Dog; and her daughter Cajen (EternalFire's A Ragin Hotsauce) takes Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Puppy under Judge Mary White. Cajen was then beautifully presented by Peggy Mignon to Best Puppy in Group under Judge Richard Paquette. What an overwhelming day seeing Cajen perform in the Puppy in Show ring and be given the nod for Best Puppy in Show under Judge Wendy Paquette. Thank you all so much for these beautiful wins!!

At the second show Jenna and Peggy take Best of Opposite Sex and Caper takes Winner's Bitch and Best Puppy under Judge Terry Carter. Wow what a weekend, Jenna takes 3 Best of Opposites, 3 Best of Breeds and 3 Group 2 Placements!! AND we have our first home bred champion!!

With an entry of 27 Rottweilers Jenna and Peggy take Best of Breed. Jenna's 6.5 month old daughter Caper (EternalFire's A Mystery Solved) takes a 4 point Winner's Bitch win being shown by Peggy as well. Thank you Judge Virginia Lyne for this honor!! Meanwhile at the Northwinds Kennel Club show in St. Norbert, Manitoba, Maverick and Penny take a Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best Puppy win under Judge Richard Lopaschuk to finish his Championship. March 11, 2005 Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club. Jenna and Peggy go Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Terry Carter. Caper, Cajen, Heathro and Baldr all show well at their first show. While Winners Bitch was being judged Judge Terry Carter made a comment to all of us in the ring that this was one of the nicest selections of bitches she had seen in quite a while and that choosing one was a difficult decision. Neither Caper nor Cajen were selected but that comment was worth the entry. Thank you so much Judge Terry Clark!!

The Rottweiler Club of Canada Top Rott stats come out for 2004 and our Jenna finished #2 Rottweiler bitch and #10 Rottweiler in Breed wins only despite very limited showing due to her litter. What an honor to have made the cut!!

November 28, 2004 Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club. Jenna is handled to a Best of Opposite Sex win by Penny Lewis under Judge Roger Hartinger over 7 class bitches and 2 Champion bitches a mere 2.5 months after whelping.
November 27, 2004 Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club. Maverick is handled to a Winners Dog win by his "Auntie" Gwen Haynes, then owner handled to a Best of Winners, Best Puppy 3 point win under Judge Luis Silva. These were the first points on this young 7.5 month old pup.
November 12-13, 2005 Grande Prairie Regional Kennel Club. Maverick makes his show ring debute and shows nicely however no points to be had.
November 1, 2005 The majority of the pups are now with their new families. Our GOLD female now known as "Cajen" was chosen as the pick female of this litter with the RED female now known as "Caper" being the 2nd pick female. Almost by fate Caper ended up staying with us as she had been destined for a show home in Winnipeg Manitoba. As fate would have it an NSF cheque from her new family made me reconsider them and luckily for us she remains a part of our rotten family!! Both Cajen & Caper are delightful, beautiful, fun and intelligent representatives of the breed and we simply can't wait to see what they will be able to accomplish in the show and obedience ring. I see so much of their parents in them with their silly little antics on a daily basis and feel truly blessed to have these little ones as part of my life!!

September 6, 2004. Jenna whelps 14 puppies in her first litter (10 males, and 4 females). Unfortunately one of the little boys was stillborn and we were unable to revive him. We know that one day we'll meet this beautiful boy again--the one who's potential will never be realized--at the Rainbow Bridge. 13 rolly, polly beautiful puppies continue to thrive and gain weight daily.

July 9, 2004 Maverick who is more formally known as VonRoths Great Paws of Fire arrives to us from VonRoth Rottweilers in Kipling Saskatchewan. Maverick is a son of VonRoths Way to Go Romeo x BOSS, BPIS Ch VonRoth Under My Thumb. Maverick's mom "Annie" was #1 Rottweiler bitch in Canada in 2002 and 2003 and garnered many breed wins, group placements, a Best of Opposite at Specialty Win, multiple Best Puppy in Group wins, and a Best Puppy in Show win. We are anticipating great things for this young pup.

This was quite the thrilling way to retire for the year as this was Jenna's last show before being bred. Thank you so much Judge Ann Hennigan.

June 4, 2004 Jenna and I obtained her Canadian Canine Good Neighbor certification through testing at the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta. She worked beautifully for me and I couldn't be more proud of her.

May 9, 2004 I receive word from Elaine Roth at VonRoth Rottweilers that the soon to be newest addition to our rottweiler family was born this morning. I can hardly wait to see some photos!!
May 2, 2004 Jenna, Callie and I attend the Heart and CERF clinic being hosted by the Calgary Associated Dog Fanciers Club in Calgary, Alberta. Both Callie and Jenna clear as NORMAL on their hearts, and Jenna clears as Normal on her CERF exam, however sad news with Callie. Callie has Inherited Degenerative Cataracts on both her eyes. Callie was spayed shortly after this exam and will remain a much beloved member of our rottn fur family.

April 18, 2004 Edmonton Kennel Club show. Jenna is handled by Peggy Mignon to her first Best of Breed win under Judge Don Fitzsimmons. Jenna and Peggy then went on to make the cut in group but no placement.
April 17, 2004 Edmonton Kennel Club show/Rottweiler Club of Canada Booster. Jenna is handled by Peggy Mignon to a Best of Opposite Sex Win under Judge L. (Skip) Stanbridge at the rottweiler booster. We were so proud of our girl and thrilled with this placement as she won over 7 class bitches and 4 champion bitches for this placement.
